ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP
Formed in 2010, the Chelsea Foundation brings together the Football in the Community and the Education department along with the club’s other charitable and community activities, including environment and anti-discrimination projects.
As one of the world’s leading football social responsibility programmes the Chelsea Foundation uses the power of sport to motivate, educate and inspire. We believe that the power of football can be harnessed to support communities and individuals both at home and abroad.

On top of our outstanding football development programmes, the Chelsea Foundation works on a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, education, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending and much more.
The scholarship is open to all African students who must plan to enroll full-time, in a four- five year degree program, at the London accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university after the completion of the Test.


AIM OF SCHOLARSHIPAfrican Union (AU) in Collaboration with Chelsea FC Foundation declared that The intent of the scholarship is promoting academic excellence through college graduation and providing students a platform to reach their full potentials. Especially to developing African Countries.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded for the following subjects:Business and Economics
Art History
Secure Identity in computer science
BA Educational and Educational Science
Social Sciences
Medicine and Allied Medicine
Law (legal science)
Information Systems or Business Law
Engineering

NO OF SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE – 25000
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
Strictly a merit based selection by foundation judges and Must come from any the following African Countries: Nigeria,Ghana,South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania,Kenya,Egypt,Algeria, Ivory coast, Cameron,Niger,Togo,Benin,Gambia, Morocco,Mozambique, Zambia and Mali.
Application Deadline: Application opens for The Chelsea Fc Foundation Scholarship : Oct 15, 2017, and closes is January 31, 2018.
